Beginner

How long is the course?

The beginner rider course is a 15 hour multimedia training program that includes both classroom and "hands-on" instruction.  It is designed to teach essential street riding skills and develop riding strategies.

Class starting on Friday.

The course starts on Friday night and runs from about 6 PM till about 10 PM, Friday night activity is all classroom.
Saturday starts at 8 AM and is made up of both classroom and range activities.  Range activities in the morning and remainder of classroom activities that afternoon.
Sunday starts at 8 AM and is made up of range activities.

Class starting on Tuesday.

The course starts on Tuesday night and runs from about 6 PM till about 10 PM, Tuesday night activity is all classroom.
Wednesday starts at 8 AM and is made up of both classroom and range activities.  Range activities in the morning and remainder of classroom activities that afternoon.
Thursday starts at 8 AM and is made up of range activities.

These times are not fixed in stone and the exact time will vary with each class.  The reason for this is because we spend about 50% of the time in the classroom and the remainder of on the range activities.  The classroom times may vary by about 5 minutes per section but now the maximum range times per activity depends on the ability of the students in this class.  This alone is the biggest variability to the total time.

As a result of many years of teaching this course I still like you to figure that you will be done sometime around 5 pm both the second and third day.  That way if you have problems we can work with you.
